My Journey: From Burnout to Balance – Nourishing, Not Punishing

Before becoming a Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach, I spent years working in the creative industry, where long hours left me feeling drained and on the verge of burnout. Juggling the demands of work and family I struggled with weight gain, low energy, and poor sleep.

Despite numerous blood tests, my GP assured me that “everything was fine,” attributing my symptoms to genetics. Frustrated and without answers, I tried to lose weight by cutting calories, skipping meals, and exercising, but nothing worked. The harder I pushed, the more exhausted I became.

Determined to take control, I embarked on my own research journey and discovered that while genetics can play a role, food and lifestyle choices were likely the bigger culprits. I revamped my diet, replacing processed foods with whole, nourishing options, and gradually my weight returned to a healthy level. My sleep improved, and with it, my energy levels soared.

What I learned was life-changing: I wasn’t punishing my body with deprivation; I was nourishing it with the right foods. The experience ignited a passion within me to help others who, like me, felt trapped in cycles of fatigue, weight gain, and burnout. I decided to pivot from my creative career, retrained, and became a certified Nutrition and Lifestyle Coach (NLC) to empower busy professionals like you to regain control of your health, achieve sustainable weight loss, and boost your energy – without sacrificing your well-being.
